At kore, we take great care in creating thoughtful, personal dining experiences. From seasonal brunches and relaxed evenings to intimate Chef's Tables and special events, each occasion involves careful planning, preparation and sourcing.

We understand that plans can change, and we aim to approach cancellations and refunds fairly, while recognising the commitments involved in preparing each experience.

1. Chef's Tables & Ticketed Events

Our Chef's Tables and selected dining experiences are ticketed events, with limited availability and advance booking required.

Where a deposit is offered, the amount payable at booking and the remaining balance will be clearly stated before purchase.

For our Festive Chef's Table, tickets are £80 per person, with a £20 deposit payable at booking and the remaining £60 per person due on the evening.

By making a booking, you agree to pay the full advertised ticket price, subject to your statutory rights and the cancellation terms below.

Guest Cancellations

If you need to cancel your booking, please contact us as soon as possible.

  • More than 14 days before the event: We will provide a full refund of any deposit or ticket payment received.

  • 7–14 days before the event: We may retain some or all of your deposit to cover reasonable costs or losses arising from your cancellation.

  • Fewer than 7 days before the event: We may retain your deposit and, where appropriate, seek a reasonable cancellation charge reflecting costs or losses we cannot recover.

We will take reasonable steps to minimise any losses, including offering released places to other guests.

Cancellation charges will not exceed our reasonable net losses arising from the cancellation, and any amount retained will be assessed fairly in the circumstances.

Transfers & Changes

If you can no longer attend, please contact us.

Where possible, we will happily help you transfer your booking to another guest, provided we receive the replacement guest's details and any dietary requirements in advance.

Changes are subject to availability and operational requirements.

Non-Attendance

If you do not attend an event without notifying us, we may retain payments already made and seek any additional reasonable losses arising from the non-attendance, subject to applicable consumer law.

2. Brunch & Regular Dining Reservations

We warmly welcome both walk-in guests and advance reservations during our advertised opening dates.

For standard brunch reservations where no deposit or prepayment has been taken, there is normally no cancellation charge.

If your plans change, we kindly ask that you let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your table to another guest.

Where a deposit, prepayment or specific cancellation condition applies to a reservation, this will be communicated clearly before your booking is confirmed.

3. Drinks, Small Plates & Walk-In Events

For relaxed dining evenings and other events where guests are welcome to walk in without purchasing tickets, no cancellation charge will normally apply to standard table reservations unless otherwise agreed in advance.

Where an event requires a deposit, advance payment or minimum spend, the relevant conditions will be made clear at the time of booking.

4. Private Dining & Exclusive Venue Hire

Private dining experiences, exclusive venue hire and bespoke celebrations may require individual booking arrangements.

These may include deposits, minimum spends, agreed guest numbers and specific cancellation terms.

Any applicable conditions will be provided and agreed as part of the individual booking process.

5. If We Need to Cancel or Make Significant Changes

In the unlikely event that kore needs to cancel an event, guests will be offered a full refund of payments made for the cancelled experience.

Where appropriate, we may offer an alternative date or experience, but you will not be required to accept this instead of a refund.

If we make a significant change to an event that materially affects the experience purchased, we will contact affected guests and explain their available options.

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory consumer rights.

6. Dietary Requirements & Allergies

We aim to accommodate dietary requirements wherever reasonably possible, including vegetarian guests.

Please inform us of any allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements when making your booking.

We will discuss suitable adaptations where necessary. However, as our kitchen handles a range of ingredients and allergens, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

If we are unable to accommodate a disclosed dietary requirement safely, we will discuss the available options with you, including an appropriate refund where required.

7. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method.

We aim to process refunds within 14 days of confirming that a refund is due, although the time taken for funds to appear in your account may depend on your payment provider.

8. Your Consumer Rights

This policy is intended to operate fairly and in accordance with applicable UK consumer protection legislation.

Some leisure and catering services provided on specific dates are exempt from the usual 14-day online cancellation right. However, this does not remove your other statutory rights.

Nothing in this policy excludes or restricts rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Contact Us

If you need to cancel, amend or discuss a booking, please contact us as soon as possible.
